SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - As the Foundation for TJO Animals continues efforts to contain a highly contagious outbreak at their shelter, members of the community are joining the fight.

The Pioneer Valley Financial Charitable Fund has donated $10,000 to the shelter to ensure they can afford the supplies needed to continue providing lifesaving care to all our their furry friends.

TJO said, with these funds, they will replenish personal protective equipment (PPE) and parvovirus vaccines for the veterinary clinic, as well as purchase diagnostic tests, treatment supplies, cleaning and disinfecting products, and food for the animals currently in the shelter’s care.
