TSA to start charging travelers with no Real ID

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) -- Starting February 1st, the Transportation Security Administration will enforce a new policy for travelers without a Real ID.
Passengers will have to pay a 45-dollar fee in order to use an alternative identity verification system.
“TSA ConfirmID” will be an option for those without a Real ID. Passengers can use the alternative ID for a 10-day travel period.
