United Airlines launches nonstop service from Bradley to Houston

WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (WFSB) - United Airlines has launched nonstop service to Houston from Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks.

The Connecticut Airport Authority announced that the first flight took off from Connecticut and landed at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport on Friday.

The CAA said that as of Friday, service operates every day.

“[Friday] morning’s inaugural flight to Houston highlights United’s investment in our region, expanding travel options and connecting passengers seamlessly to their global network,” said Michael Shea, executive director and CEO of the CAA. “For nearly 80 years, United has been a valued partner at Bradley International Airport, and we appreciate their continued commitment to our community.”

From Houston, travelers can connect to other destinations across the southern U.S., Mexico, and Latin America.
