SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) – Authorities have identified the victim and suspect in a deadly Springfield hit-and-run.

On Friday, Springfield Police were called to the area of State and Federal Streets for a report of a pedestrian that had been hit by a vehicle. When they arrived, they found an injured woman, identified Thursday as 58-year-old Sylvia Gladden of Springfield, and she was taken to Baystate Medical Center where she died.
