Westover Explosive Ordnance Disposal training in Chicopee

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) -- If you heard loud noises near Chicopee on Sunday or Monday, there’s no need to be alarmed.
The Westover Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit began conducting training Sunday morning at Westover Air Reserve Base, continuing Monday.
If you live around the area, you can expect to hear small and large booms throughout the rest of the day.
