TURNERS FALLS, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) -- Greenfield police are issuing a warning that drivers in Turners Falls should expect daytime closures on the White Bridge. MassDOT will be inspecting the Turners Falls Road Bridge over the Connecticut River on April 8th and 9th.

The bridge will be closed from nine a.m. to three p.m. on both days, with a detour in place. Signs will guide drivers through the area, but MassDOT warns to slow down and use caution.

Officials add the schedule could change if the weather doesn’t cooperate.
