Willie Ross School for the Deaf offering community sign language classes

LONGMEADOW, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Willie Ross School for the Deaf in Longmeadow is helping bridge the language barrier by offering sign language classes to residents.
Beginning next Tuesday, February 3, classes will be held weekly from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. through April 21. The school will offer five course levels, with fluency assessed during the first class for placement.
Registration is $175 for the term, but parents and guardians of current students can take courses for free on Wednesday evenings.
