Workforce development roundtable discussion held in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) -- A roundtable discussion was held to strengthen career pathways for college students through several methods.
Senator Jake Oliviera and the Secretary of the Office of Labor and Workforce Development hosted the discussion, with intentions to align academic programs with workforce needs, while also expanding paid internships, apprenticeships, and work-based learning opportunities.
