‘I want that scaffolding down;’ Springfield mayor calls out MGM for lack of action at State & Main

SPRINGFIELD – Renovation and redevelopment is happening all around the corner of State and Main streets. But not at 101 State St., an office building owned by MGM Springfield but left untouched in the seven years the $980 million casino property‘s been open.

“Unacceptable,” said Springfield Mayor Domenic J. Sarno.
