Springfield to hold 2 Veterans Day events

SPRINGFIELD – The East Springfield Neighborhood Council will hold a “Salute to Veterans” event to honor those who served in the military.
The ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Bowles Park and Osborne Terrace and all are welcome.
The guest speaker is Staff Sgt. Sean Sullivan from the U.S. Army. The National Anthem and taps will be played and there will be a bagpiper attending.
