A three-alarm fire ripped through an off-campus apartment complex near the University of Massachusetts Amherst late Friday night, according to multiple sources.

The blaze occurred at an apartment building located at 57 Olympia Drive, a complex primarily used as off-campus housing for UMass Amherst students, according to a WWLP story that was published at 10 p.m.

Fire officials from surrounding towns, including Amherst, Pelham, Hadley, Leverett and Northampton. responded the Massachusetts Daily Collegian reported. Red Cross vehicles arrived after 1 a.m. to assist.
