BROOKLINE - On a cold November afternoon often plagued by rain, Monday’s contest between No. 21 Brookline and No. 28 Winchester boys soccer came down to who made the least mistakes, and which side could capitalize last.
Moved up from his typical spot at left back, Brookline senior Wally Lawrence found himself in a perfect position in the 79th minute to not only take advantage of a mistake, but win the game for the Warriors.
