Tanner Jeannot’s second fight in as many games didn’t last long.

The Bruins’ physical forward paired off with Montreal’s Arber Xhekaj, who was fighting for the fourth time in the last month. He had 25 penalty minutes in 16 games coming in.

But despite all the experience, Xhekaj lost his balance for a second and as he righted himself, he left himself with his defenses down.

Jeannot pounced. He delivered a strong right to Xhekaj’s face. The Montreal defenseman tumbled backward and the linesmen jumped in.

Jeannot landed a big right to get the better of Ottawa’s Kurtis McDermid on Thursday.

It was the game’s second fight as Nikita Zadorov and Jayden Struble paired off four seconds in. There were three roughing penalties in the opening period as well.
