SPRINGFIELD — With injuries to three of the Golden Eagles’ running backs, someone completely new needed to step up on Friday night.
On Monday, Chris Sanchez was informed by his coaches that he’d be starting in the backfield on Friday night against No. 15 Taunton. Sanchez hadn’t recorded a rushing attempt on the year, but this was far from unfamiliar territory.
