Kyle Dugger continued to make an impact and helped extend the Steelers’ lead over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday afternoon.

The defensive back picked off Joe Flacco and ran the ball 74 yards to the end zone in the third quarter with 48 seconds left to give Pittsburgh a 20-9 lead after the extra point was good.

It’s Dugger’s first pick-6 since 2023 when he hauled one in against the Miami Dolphins. That was his second of that season. His first came against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Dugger’s impact with Pittsburgh has been almost immediate since the New England Patriots traded the veteran in October in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round pick.

After being a mainstay in New England’s defense, Dugger was moved to a backup role under new coach Mike Vrabel’s scheme. He starter four of the seven games he was with the Patriots this season and amassed 17 tackles.

Going into Sunday’s game against the Bengals, Dugger totaled nine tackles in two games for the Steelers.
