Garnett, Pierce to present Doc Rivers at Basketball Hall of Fame enshrinement
SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -- The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame class of 2026 enshrinement ceremony is one month away, with more than 50 Hall of Famers expected to attend.
Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce will present former Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers during this year’s enshrinement ceremony. The two were hand-picked by Rivers to serve as his presenters.
Rivers is one of the eight people and one team being enshrined this year.
The ceremony takes place Aug. 15 at the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield. Tickets are still available on the hall’s website.
