Record-breaking night as Minnechaug downs Chicopee Comp in WMass Class A Bowl Game

CHICOPEE — After falling 36-14 last week in the first round of the MIAA Div. III playoffs, the Minnechaug football team was looking to right the ship in the Western Massachusetts Class A Super Bowl against Chicopee Comp.
One glaring thing stood in the Falcons’ way: the Colts’ sparkling 8-1 record. The record ultimately didn’t impact Minnechaug, as the visitors were able to dominate Comp for a 34-6 win on Friday night at Mitchell S. Kuzdzal Field in their final game of the season.
