Walker Austin tracked down a deep ball in right-center field early in the contest for the first noteworthy snag. Gus Garrett Peltier then handled two liners at the mound, forcing a double play on one, before Carl Larsen had the play of the game in the sixth inning, hauling in a pop fly in foul territory along right field with a sliding catch.

At the plate, Garrett Peltier led the Hurricanes, going 4-for-4 with two RBIs.
