DANVERS - Despite a relatively disappointing week of practice, No. 1 St. John’s Prep football went out and took care of business Friday night in the first round of the Division I state tournament.
Even on an off week, the Eagles know who they are, and recognize the standard they are held to. While they weren’t the best and didn’t play their cleanest game of football of the year, Prep still beat No. 16 Framingham, 38-0, to advance to the state quarterfinals.
