Thunderbirds eye playoff berth in crucial home game against Phantoms
SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - All eyes will be on the MassMutual Center Wednesday as the Springfield Thunderbirds push to make their second straight Calder Cup Playoff appearance.
With three games remaining on their schedule, they have the opportunity to clinch a playoff spot on their home ice against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms tomorrow. If the T-Birds beat the Phantoms in regulation, their playoff hopes will come true.
