Top-seeded Walpole field hockey blanks Franklin, captures 3rd straight MIAA Div. I title (video)

BURLINGTON — As the offensive pressure ramped up, and the penalty corners piled up, it seemed almost a certainty that the Walpole field hockey team was going to find the all-important first goal in Saturday’s MIAA Division I state championship game.
Title games are funny like that, though — sometimes that goal never comes. But the Porkers’ sizable senior contingent made sure their dynasty would live on.
