World Cup at Gillette Stadium less than a month away with steep ticket prices

FOXBOROUGH, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -- With less than a month until the World Cup kicks off at Gillette Stadium, last-minute ticket buyers will need to pay big money for the limited seats still available.
FIFA released batches of tickets over the past several months, but May 7 marked the final batch, leaving limited options.
For the first game in the group stage, Haiti versus Scotland on Saturday, June 13, tickets are still available around midfield as of Friday morning. Most are in the first few rows, but one ticket will run up to $1,300 each. Fewer than 170 tickets remain for that matchup.
Prices get steeper for the bigger names. For the Norway versus France match on Monday, June 26, a matchup between Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe, tickets could run up to $2,500 each. Availability, as of Friday morning, was around the corners for that game.
The Round of 32 matchup is scheduled for Monday, June 29. Tickets are slightly cheaper at around $1,860 each because it won’t be known who advances until next month. Only 125 tickets are left for sale for that game.
The quarterfinals will be played on Thursday, July 9. Fewer than 125 tickets are left for sale, all listed at $4,200 each.
