Xaverian football defeats Andover, reaches D-I state semifinals

WESTWOOD – The No. 3 Xaverian football team defeated No. 11 Andover 42-17 in the Division I state quarterfinals on Friday night.
Andover came into this game oozing confidence. Last week, upsetting No. 6 Wachusett on the road and aiming to do so again. Quarterback Tyler Olson has emerged as a premier dual-threat athlete while first-year coach Jay Fielding has led the charge.
