A Summer-Feel for Wednesday

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Today, we have a summer feel, it’s warm and a little more on the muggy side. We’ll also see a mix of sun and clouds for the majority of the day. Highs continue to range in the 80’s. In fact, we could get into the upper 80’s in some areas.
A weak cold front passes through later in the day, with not much moisture. Can’t rule out a hit or miss shower or storm, but it would be very isolated. Most, if not everyone remains rain-free. That front will mainly just bring in some more seasonable temperatures and less humid air for the rest of the week.
Tonight, we’re partly cloudy and cool with lows falling into the 50’s.
Thursday, we’re a little cooler and less muggy. Highs range in the middle 70’s under a mix of sun and clouds. Some upper-level energy swings through, which brings a chance for a hit or miss spot shower, but the majority of the day is dry.
Friday, also a dry day with sun and clouds with highs around 70°. An upper-level low swings through late in the day Friday, bringing some cooler temperatures and spotty showers.
This lingers into Saturday. Saturday is cool with spotty showers and a lot of clouds. Highs range in the 60’s. Not a washout. Sunday is still looking like the nicer of the two weekend days. Sun and clouds with highs around 70°.
Next week, it’s the first week of June, and it’s trending dry and warmer.
