SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - It was another cool and pleasant start this morning with temperatures falling into the low and mid 50’s. The temperatures will warm quickly into early afternoon and by Noon, we will be approaching 80°, reaching a high in the low to mid 80’s under mostly sunny skies.

It will be another cool and comfortable night with low temperatures in the mid 50’s. Sunday will remain mostly sunny, warm and dry with highs in the middle 80’s and comfortable dew points.

It will start to become a bit more humid on Monday, especially in the afternoon, but the day still looks nice with a fair amount of sunshine. Highs will top off in the middle 80’s as it slowly becomes more humid.

A slow moving area of low pressure will bring us periods of rain and perhaps a few thunderstorms by Tuesday, especially in the afternoon. It may end up being a good soaking with the potential for isolated flash flooding. Showers and humidity will likely last into Wednesday as well with another chance of some thunderstorms in the afternoon. Temperatures will be mainly in the 70’s with dew points reaching well into the 60’s to near 70, so the muggies will return once again.

It may take some time to dry out into late week with the chance for some lingering showers, but Friday and Saturday are looking drier as of right now with temperatures returning to the 80’s.
