SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - It was a cold start for us as many of us started the day ranging in the teens and 20’s.
Today will feature partly to mostly sunny skies, more clouds around in the Berkshire’s. Perhaps a stray flurry in the hills as well, but the valley should remain dry. Highs range in the low to mid-30’s. Breezy at times, with winds between 10-20 mph.
Tonight, we’re partly to mostly clear and cold. Lows fall into the single digits with lighter winds.
Friday features mostly sunny skies and lighter winds. Highs ranging in the middle and upper 30’s. A few more clouds and a few flurries Friday night.
Saturday, Valentine’s Day, will also feature a mix of sun and clouds with a light breeze. Highs in the middle and upper 30’s to near 40°. Sunday also is mostly sunny.
We’ve been keeping a close eye on a storm that could have the potential of bringing rain and snow for Southern New England Sunday night into Monday. Looking more and more confident that the low pressure passes far enough to the south, that it misses New England.
We’re looking dry for Monday with high and mid-level clouds as the storm passes out to sea to our south.
Next week is trending milder with highs ranging in the 40’s. Dry for Tuesday with a few rain chances around by mid-week.
