SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - We had a bit of a wet start to our day as we are dealing with the last of the showers moving through our area from last night.

Steadier rain ends early, with any leftover showers done by mid-day. The remainder of the day is cool, damp and cloudy, with highs only ranging in the 50’s to near 60°.

Tonight, we’re seeing skies gradually clear and it’s cool as lows fall into the upper 30’s to around 40°.

It’s cooler to end the week, with a mix of sun and clouds Friday. We may see a few late-day showers. In the late afternoon, into the evening and Friday night. Highs range in the middle and upper 50’s to near 60°. More of a breeze too out of the northwest.

We’re under the influence of some upper-level energy so we will see sun and clouds on Saturday with the chance for a hit or miss shower, through the majority of the day remains dry. Highs near 60°.

Sunday, we’re watching a coastal low passing offshore, and this will likely bring rain to Eastern Mass, and more clouds for Western Mass. Right now, we’re looking dry, but if the low tracks closer to the shore, we could see some showers make their way into Western Mass. Something we’re watching. Best chance for showers right now would be east of I-91.

Next week, temperatures start ticking up as the week goes on with a few rain chances around.
