SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - After some rain yesterday and last night, rain ended early this morning, and sunshine has returned.

For today, we’re drier and cooler with highs ranging in the lower 60’s under partly to mostly sunny. A light to steady breeze out of the northwest.

Tonight, we’re partly cloudy and cooler as lows fall to either side of 40°.

Friday, we have a mix of sun and clouds. With some upper-level energy around, we could see a hit or miss shower in the afternoon, but the majority of the day is dry with highs ranging in the upper 50’s and lower 60’s.

This weekend, we have a dry and cloudy start on Saturday. Low pressure should bring a period of rain Saturday afternoon into Saturday evening. Highs should range in the upper 50’s to near 60°.

Sunday, Mother’s Day, looking nicer. Sun and clouds with highs in the 60’s and lower to middle 70’s.

This is followed by more rain chances and a cooler pattern once again heading into next week.
