SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - We dry and cool start to our day with sun and clouds. Clouds are expected to increase as the day goes on. We’ll end up mostly cloudy by the afternoon. Highs range in the upper 60’s to near 70°.

Low pressure and a cold front approach, bringing periods of rain late tonight into tomorrow morning.

We’ll get a soaking rain, likely seeing around a quarter to a half inch of rain. Some embedded downpours are possible, but for the most part, a steady rain.

Steady rain looks to end by around mid-day Thursday. Then the remainder of the day is cool, damp and cloudy, with highs only ranging in the 50’s to near 60°.

It’s cooler to end the week, with a mix of sun and clouds Friday. The chance for a hit or miss shower. Highs range in the middle and upper 50’s to near 60°. More of a breeze too out of the northwest.

This weekend is looking dry with clouds and some sun, cooler too with highs ranging in the middle and upper 50’s to near 60°. Next week, temperatures start ticking up as the week goes on.
