SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - It was a cool start to our Friday with clear skies and no wind, temperatures have fallen into the upper 40’s and lower 50’s this morning.

High pressure will remain firmly in control of our weather and keep the beautiful stretch lasting through the weekend! Today will feature mostly sunny skies with highs in the lower to middle 80’s along with continued low levels of humidity. Dew points will be mainly in the 40’s and 50’s.

This pattern will stick around into the weekend as well with highs in the middle 80’s. It will stay dry with continued sunny skies, a fantastic summer weekend for late July.

It will start to become more humid on Monday and eventually a slow moving front will bring us rain and perhaps a few thunderstorms starting either later Monday or Tuesday and may stick around through the middle of next week as a trough lingers across the region.
