SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - It’s a beautiful afternoon with sunny, warm and dry conditions. Temperatures will top off in the middle 80’s. The nice conditions will carry into the evening and overnight with temperatures falling into the 70’s through sunset then into the lower an middle 60’s by morning.

Thursday will become more humid as the day goes with highs in the upper 80’s to near 90. There may be an isolated storm around but most will stay dry.

We will be out ahead of cold front on Friday so it will remain warm and humid under a blend of sunshine and clouds. Temperatures will reach bear 90 again in the afternoon. We have a better chance of seeing a few storms as a cold front moves through in the evening. Storms could be on the strong to severe side so Friday still may end up being a First Alert Weather Day. Best chance for storms looks to be during the late afternoon and evening.

The front dry us out nicely for the weekend. As of now the weekend is looking very nice with sunshine, highs in the 80’s along with not too much humidity!
