SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Today we start the day on a mild and damp note as we deal with light sprinkles and spotty showers.

This will be the theme for the rest of the day. We’re cloudy, with off and on light showers or sprinkles. Not a washout, but we’ll call it unsettled. Highs today are ranging in the 40’s to lower 50’s with a light breeze out of the west.

Tonight, skies go partly cloudy, then it turns cold and breezy. Winds tonight pick up out of the west, gusting at times up to 25 mph. Lows fall into the 20’s and lower 30’s.

On Tuesday for Veteran’s Day, we are under the influence of an upper-level low. This brings chilly and unsettled weather for most of this week. We’re looking at mainly cloudy skies Tuesday and winds gusting between 20-35 mph, highs in the upper 30’s to around 40° Tuesday.

We are also expecting to see a few flurries and light snow showers in the hills. This would be mainly confined to Berkshire County and the hill towns. Aside from a stray flurry, we should not see anything in the valley.

In the Berkshire’s, we may see some minor accumulations from this. Around a half inch to 2 inches.

By Wednesday, we are still under the influence of an upper-level low. This means we remain chilly with highs ranging in the 40’s, and breezy too. We’ll be mainly cloudy with the chance for an isolated shower or flurry across the Berkshire’s.

Thursday we’re mostly cloudy with a light shower or sprinkle chance. Highs ranging in the 40’s.

By Friday and Saturday, we are starting to break from that pattern. We’ll see more sunshine working in and lighter winds. Highs still ranging in the 40’s. Perhaps a shower chance returns by Sunday into Monday of next week.
