SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Today will be the nicest day of the whole week. We’ll see high and mid-level clouds with more sun. It’s nice otherwise with highs in the upper 60’s to around 70° with low humidity.

Tonight, clouds build in and lows fall into the 40’s.

Memorial Day weekend right now looks unsettled and cool.

Saturday, clouds build but rain looks to hold off. Most of Saturday is dry, cloudy and cool with highs in the middle 60’s. It wouldn’t be until the end of the day, after 6pm, where showers start moving in.

Sunday is looking the rainiest. Periods of rain all day, it’s light to steady with most of Western Mass picking up around 1-2″ of beneficial rain.

By Memorial Day itself, most, if not all the rain is over. A leftover shower in the morning will give way to a mostly cloudy day, with some sun, especially later in the day. Highs in the upper 60’s to around 70°.

Then next week, we’ll see sun and clouds and pleasant temperatures. Ranging in the 70’s and 80’s most of next week.
