SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - What a week we’ve had so far! Feeling more like July, rather than April. We’ve ranged in the 80’s every day since Monday. In fact, Thursday, we hit 90° at Westover, 2° shy of the record, but hot, nonetheless.

We had a few downpours and storms roll through again last night, so many of us this morning started off damp, mild and muggy.

Today, we’ll see sun and clouds with a hit or miss shower or storm, but there will also be many hours where it is dry. Warm, but not as hot as the last few days. Highs ranging in the lower to middle 70’s with a muggy feel.

Tonight, we’re partly cloudy and cool with lows falling into the lower 50’s.

The weekend is a few degrees cooler, but much closer to normal for April. Highs in the middle and upper 60’s to near 70° on Saturday. Saturday will also be your dry day this weekend. A lot of clouds with some sun.

Sunday, we’re expecting periods of rain. Starting off early in the morning, coming down throughout the entire day at varying rates of intensity. We’ll pick up around a quarter to three-quarters of an inch of rain. Maybe even a few snowflakes mixing in for the hills and the Berkshire’s.

Next week is starting off cool, then a return to seasonable temperatures as the week goes on.
