SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - After many of us picked up several inches of snow Saturday, snow is winding down.

Winter Weather Advisories expire at 5pm Saturday.

Tonight, we’ll see mostly cloudy skies and temperatures falling into the 20’s.

Sunday, a storm passes offshore, bringing periods of light snow across much of New England. New model trends have the track of low-pressure offshore, coming slightly closer, meaning we should see some snow in Western Mass.

We should see periods of light snow from morning through evening. Likely bringing about 2-4 inches of snow. Higher amounts expected towards Eastern Mass, especially on The Cape.

Next week, a cold weather pattern sets in with highs each day ranging in the 20’s, with at times some blistery conditions. Adding to that cold.

In the long term, our next weather maker comes Thursday with some snow. Some potential mixing for the valley areas can’t be ruled out.
